Heh, not poor me. I could pee in public and not be embarassed, but I don't because its rude. But if there were no port-o-potties, I'd have just gone in the woods. Guys can go pee standing, ya know.

On the other hand, if ZP had to sit down on one of those, it'd be poor ZP.


Anyways, Zappo's camp had electricity in the bunks, what kind of camp is that? Oh, and at the end of camp, Zappo died his hair to get rid of his greys.

Why any self respecting guy would use a port-o-potty when there are woods nearby is beyond me. Hell, I prefer pissing outside to using my own bathroom. At least then you don't have to worry about dribbling on the rim or being too aggressive with the shakes!

see that shack, its in the middle of the woods with about 5 tents around it (on these wooden platforms, not like just in the dirt). the girls side of the village was by the shack, guys side was down the road.
the summer i made vinens magelo background i lived there. the guys in my age group had to sleep in the dirty shack because some one pre-camp threw out all tents the guys were going to live in.
but he only threw out 2
soo 6 guys and 12 girls, it was gunna be 3 per tent so worked out perfect to not give us tents!
think it took the guys maybe 3 nights to say gee <random female name here> im sleeping here tonight!
now i know what your thinking! the girls told us they were to close to us and thought of us as brothers :\ so no action at all with one another! twas a great summer (really!)

i started going in '97 (going into 8th grade)
in going into 10th grade you are the oldest campers in camp.
the next year they have a "pioneer program" where your a nicknamed a pio (i was a pio in 2000). its cool, you make your own village with showers, and even a stove. for the showers we lost some stuff so we only made one on girls side that we would all lined up in towels to use (or walk over to the other side of camp and take some ones shower that they are not using). we had to heat water in a barrel that we had to clean out 1st week (because it had bees in it, and thats bad) then with a hose we had the water go down a hill and into a shower.

for the stove we had to jump in a river and dig up clay, and put together a stove. then we would run around camp and throw clay at people we knew :D
then we would put hand prints on the shack (seen in pic)
the next summer you become staff in training, almost no pios at all come back for this summer for many diff. reasons.

last summer was my 1st year as a full counselor at this camp.

The scary part is, when the planet finally gets tired of us and tries to wipe us out with huge storms, earthquakes, volcanoes, etc, and we all lose electrical power and such, the people most prepared to live in a world without technology and rebuild civilisation will be those led by Zappo.

one time at jew camp a a friend of mine who was a counselor in the youngest kids bunk was teaching the kids about life and where we stand in it
now i didnt hear the speech but the kids said at the end of the speech, "so were all nothing, right? our lives are nothing in the grand scale!".. and my friend said, "exactly, now you got it"

this guy was crazy=o but cool!
2nd 1/2 they moved him out of a bunk and made him be the camp gate guard because he cant be with kids. he had to sit in a chair for 8 hours a day and looks into nothingness for 4 weeks.

when i was a pio i almost was kicked out !
see we were living across this lake and we had a boat with a hole in it tied to our dock.
and the sucker came untied and floated away!!
so at 2 am i was down at the dock talking to my friend 2 lady friends of mine (the dock was cool because of the stars and some times the lake looked really cool with a mist over it all). Jill, whose older brother was my counselor for 2 years in a row before this summer, and we got along real well the year before this. The 2nd girl was Mindy whose step dad was the director of camp, and for dharrk/zp her little sister was the one that called me big sister (wont get into it).

so were talking about the boat and i am like, oh np ill swim across the lake and get it! i swam the lake plenty of times during the day so i knew i could do it.
any ways its late so ill wrap this up
i swim to get it, they keep a light on me and yell my name so they know i dont drown
the head of the lake is sleeping on a trampaline (sp?) in the middle of the lake that one night of the year b/c there is no moon so the stars are brighter.
he woke up yelled at me
and theres more that ill say tomorrow
