I am quite concerned. It seems that the neighbors are violating the Haverford Convention, and secretly pursuing a prohibited weapons program on the corner of their house. Under the terms of the H.C., icicles no larger than 2 feet are strictly forbidden.

This morning, I spotted a nearly 6 footer hanging off their gutter. This is no accident, I am sure. An icicle of mass destruction such as this is a threat to the stability of the entire neighborhood.

Something must be done.

I think a secret command raid to disable the IMD before they are ready to launch is the wisest option. However I doubt the Briantine empire has troops capable of pulling off this mission!

Oh, we have the troops. And the political will to use them!

I say you light your house on fire. The radiant heat should melt them right away.

This move will not only remove the threat, but should build sympathy for you such that you will have more sway in future diplomatic discussions.

Wouldn't it make more sense to light their house on fire?

Who are you planning on unleasing those nasties on?

I think you may be required to deploy an investigative team of professionals (for a period of no less than 6 months) to determine if the "IMDs" really exist or not. I vote for inspectors and red tape. It may be an illusion. However, regardless of what they turn up, I advise immediate action against any possible threat of IMD from these "neighbors."

It seems confidence is low in Leo's combat skills.

I don't know what you guys are even talk about. There are NO icicles of mass destruction. There never have been and there never will be.

Oh, no, I have every confidence in him. We let him sleep on the couch now, so he BETTER step up to bat for us! :)

But look he has 0 votes. That means you didn't even vote for him.

my advice would be to move your infantry away from the IMD as quickly as possible

I voted for the covert mission. I want to see Lola break off his downspout and try to explain that it was because of the imminent danger of the icicle.

It took me the first page of replies to figure out what IMD stood for. Damn you warmongers and your acronyms.

Still, I voted snowball shelling, because there was no option to sneak over with a ladder, break it off, and use it to nail their family pet to the front door.

Given the lack of updates I am going to assume you talked to the neighborhood people and they are still considering which type of coffee to drink before they take up the issue.

I'm afraid that the existence, or lack thereof, of any IMD-related operations is strictly classified at this time.

I'm confused as to what the problem is, if as you say, icicles no larger than 2 feet are forbidden then your neighbors would be in violation only if their icicles were under 2 feet...

:D
