Evolution at it's best. Or proof there's something going on beyond simple evolution. Watching these things clamp down, seeing a plant "eat", is one of the coolest things I've seen.

And having nothing but a paper thin shell of a bug left over is pretty wild too, especially when I've been feeding him the lovely baby cockroaches that keep coming up through the vents from the apartment below us.

Oh, in vinne02, note the leaf on the right is "eating", it's closed airtight and starting digestion mode. You can just make out the roache's legs poking out on the far right edge.
