View Full Version : A Very Cold Day in Hell
These are some pictures that were taken back home after a fire started in a local business. The temperature was I believe 30 below that mornin. In one of the pictures you can see all the steam that came off of the building..there is an underpass off to the right of the building and there a few buildings behind it that you can't see. They said in the newspaper article that there was close to foot or more of ice. You can see that the visor of the guys helmet is covered with ice.

Wish I had some pictures of two fires that happened here during our ridiculous cold snap (-45C/F before windchill). One was a chicken processing plant, the other a large apartment building. Both were basically gigantic icecubes, I don't think they can even demo the rest of the apartment building yet because of the ice. May as well be concrete.
