Good show. Best I did was win $80 on my first play ever on a slot machine in Vegas. Then lost about half of it, but still came out ahead. And had fun, went to a couple Cirque du Soleil shows with SolRo's former Guide Jynxx (if anyone remembers her). That was many years ago.

A little over $11,000 by the time I was done with Vegas. The IRS wants 28% of the 10k though.

So you guys have to pay tax on any gambling earnings? Lotteries and stuff included? That explains the story a few years back about some American who won a lottery or something while in Canada, and then was fighting to stay in Canada :D

yep:) any of the bigger scores you see out there are taxed. Why? Because the govt knows if I hit 100 million, I'm not working EVER again! So they might as well tax me now:P

I guess I see the logic in that. It doesn't work that way here, though. As far as I know, all gambling/lottery type winnings are tax free. Hence why that American who won the lottery here didn't want to go back. Can't say I blame him.
