Request for Quest Info, and perhaps aid

Hey all, I am looking for some information, and perhaps some
help.

Being that I am one of those 'weird' tradeskill nuts, I try to complete
all the major quests requiring tradeskills. Done with Coldain Shawl
7 and all that. But now I am working on The Garzicor name quest.
The one that ends up with one of three things, Sanctum Guardian
Earring, Pitted Iron Ring and the Ethereal Bladed naginata. Of course, as a
cleric I want the Sanctum Guardian Earring. If you are interested in

Regardless, I am trying to figure out where exactly one piece of
the quest drops. According to what I have read, the
Chromium Ore 'can be bought from the Armor of Zek in Kael Drakkel'.
That's a quote from Eqmaps, and it makes little sense. Bought?

Allakhazam makes more sense with:
'Chronium ore: Found on Armor of Zek in kael, next to the Vindicator.'
on their writeup at:

Now, last time I fought the Vindicator, there was no such Armor of Zek next to
him. Do they mean PAST him (where I have never been) or something that
spawns when he dies (the Armor of Rallos Zek I am thinking)? I don't
know when you last bagged Derakor, but I was wondering if you had recently
killed the Armor and if it had Chromium Ore on it.

All THAT being said… IF you plan to head there any time soon, and none of
your hard working tradeskill type people need it, I would be more than willing
to come along, offer my questionable clericing skills, for a chance at looting
this Chronium Ore. Supposedly at my skill level of 193 every part of the quest
should be trivial, and I would love to be actually capable to completing this
almost insanely difficult quest..;-)

Hi =o

You can not buy it but it DROPS of Amors of Zek. Those mobs are indeed at Vindicator area but they spawn deeper in.

We always get 1 - 2 of them when we pull Statue of Rallos Zek

Need to talk to an officer tho if you want to come along

Hey Gryfalia I'm working on that quest too - just need to kill the dn spawned dragons and do the final combine now. As far as I know, the final combine (with the two magical diamonds) is NOT trivial until +200, so I suggest getting your smithing as high as you can. :) If you're looking for more info on the quest, the safehouse has very detailed walk through courtesy of the first person to finish it.

P.S

Not sure if you know or not, but the ore that drops off the cliff golems can't be split anymore. So you need two pieces, not one like the instructions say :)

Wow, thanks for the info, both of you.

I had heard something about '2 two meteoric ores from
the Cliff golems' and figured why not, just to be safe.

I read a report where he said straight up that it was trivial at
188 or something. Weird. Oh well. I do know that they
HAVE changed trivials in the past (stage 6 of the Coldain
Prayer Shawl comes to mind).

Thankfully IG loves doing HS, so that's not an issue.

So the piece of the Armors are my only problem..;-)

Yeah, its quite possible they've changed the trivial for the final combined. As for hs, a rogue can sneak in and grab the piece to multi it with you, as long as there isn't a see invis mob up in south wing before the drop off.

Yea, all you have to do is bug someone to port you around for awhile, and steal one of their (semi theirs) alts, and voila, you got the HS part! Also, don't forget to not be able to clear zone in w/o whining to said person you need help!
