You may want to ensure that your memory's got a little bit of overhead in terms of clockspeed. Not sure how comfortable you are with overclocking or if you're even interested, but it's a great way to get a pretty decent bump in performance for little to no effort. Because the multiplier is locked on the high side, you have to overclock the FSB and memory as well as the CPU. A 10% bump is pretty much guaranteed, at the least.

Or you may want to get a 3200, if the extra few dozen bucks will fit into your budget.

I've had a few 10000rpm drives in my time, and the noise and lower lifespan are really not worth the minimal performance boost and increased price.

Do yourself a favor, and spend $30 less for a 300gig 7200rpm drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822144393). You'll thank yourself later by having 4x the space for a drive that is more reliable.

Agreed, and look for one with NCQ (native command queing), same price & a bit faster performance.

Looking to build myself a WoW comp for raiding, because HardPuppet isn't gonna handle it.

I'd like to spend no more than $750 bucks, but it only has to be able to install WoW and run it for raids. If you have any ideas as far as parts, please, feel free to make comments.
