cats may be cute, but they are also very selfish animals on average. they expect to be pampered and loved while doing nothing productive, unless you are the type that likes petting a cat for entertainment. show me a cat that is trained to relieve itself outside and bring me the paper in the morning and I'll be impressed.

I have fun with my cat. She fetches when I toss her toy and meows when she sees a spider that she can't reach. Overall this is one of the best cats I've had. And I havent gone more than a month in my life without a pet.

I'm all for pets, just not a cat person. I had a rat for a while in highschool and I've had multiple dogs for most of my life. It does sound like you have a talented cat, but in my experience a cats worthwhile are few and far between.
