So I was rummaging around looking for some drum stuff to use on a new single and stumbled across Mike Portnoy. I realize most of you that are into the rock type music will be more than familiar with him, but it's all a bit new to me. Found an interesting clip of him... especially respect the piece starting at about 1:55 in the clip below.

Not sure how difficult it truly is for the drummers out there (especially our superstar drummer), would love to get some perspective from you on this one.

What he's doing there isn't terribly difficult (he has some WAY more difficult stuff recorded for sure), and actually the stuff after 1:55 is the "easiest" of it all to do.

I'll post a whole bunch of drummer names you can look into, or drummers no one else has posted, at a later date.
