I think Mortal Kombat is one of the better video game based movies made. I also think it wasn't that good.

I've only seen the commercials for Resident Evil. It looked "meh" at best. So, I guess I can't really add an opinion about that one. /shrug

IMO the animated Street Fighter 2 movie was the best (and pretty good too).
