(flash reaction time game)

(without cheating, i.e. sub .1 sec tranqs that can only result from getting faked out and pressing early, but getting lucky with a sheep coming out in the next), I found I couldn't achieve a better time than .19

There's a bit of luck involved (some are easier to spot, some are more camoflauged by false movements/sounds), so here's a run of 4 consecutive games:

.2112

.2534

.218

.3008

I'll get some coffee+sugar and post another run of 4 immediately after :)

0.127 is best atm

0.18 is average for that game. one before was 2.23 tho

0.20

i guess thats enough for me :P Granted. I dont think you should expect similar times with tranq. shot. there is a difference between 30sec game and 15min fight, where you have to do other shit as well.

.2204
.1982
.1858
.1662

(individual sheep as low as .125!) i think it was the sugar, though. hadn't eaten

I think .25 is typical.

I enjoyed this one compared to others because the stimulus requires conscious identification (i.e. it's not "hear noise, startle, click" or "see flash, startle, click"), so is a better test of real reaction time.

I can get sheep 1,2,4,5 in under 1.88 everytime but I always screw up on sheep 3...

Woot finally broke 1.90!!!

1.624... but it was an easy cycle with little waiting time between sheep.
*edit*
lol meant broke .190 ... and it was .1624.

After that I could not get lower than .1742 and was hitting .1998 several times. Think I am burned out on sheepies.

And you all thought I was incredibly slow :D

0.2248, but I just woke up.

I'll try again later after my Adderall kicks in :)

First time I tried it. Increased time at the end demonstrates my ADD. I'm already bored with the game before the 5th sheep dart.

Took a few tries, I liked to dart blinking sheep a bit too much it seems.

Ok, done with it now - the score sucked (blew the last one), but note the time on the 3rd sheep (you can see him to the top/left of the score). And yes, I saw him and clicked, it wasn't a lucky click.

I got a few 0.0 and thought they must have been false clicks (i.e. another sheep's motion faked me out). But maybe the way the time is measured is a little goofy as well.

I think CRT users get an unfair advantage also! My LCD monitor must add at least .03 seconds :)

I do remember having better reflexes in the past (before a bout of carpal tunnel from work, I was a Quake demi-god)

The ones that come from the bottom of the screen are bullshit ... there's a sheep standing there so you don't see it til it's a ways out

Obi Wan was wise to hide you from me; now his failure is complete.

Edit for Mandri: Yes I realize that's not how that Star Wars quote really goes.

I found that this was easier when played with audio; I got a sub .136 second average last night, the sound when a sheep starts moving is helpful.

Yeah, I tried on Boopie's computer with headphone (her LCD is supposedly 12ms as well) and it was much easier.

Bleh, I can't get better than a .21 or so total, though I've had individual lucky sheep of about .125 and such. Good thing I just play a priest and don't need to really respond to things eh? (Or did, anyways.)

And I resent being told I 'need to improve' by a flash game. Screw you, flash game! I'm going to go play minesweeper!

I was having a lot of trouble getting the sheep by clicking on them. I can't seem to get a score of any worth. It's pretty difficult to catch the sheep with the mouse.

:confuse:

Gads! I found out about the button much later. It's so much easier now. I average .13 or so.
