Is there a reason why I should not get this Costco camera (http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11182126&whse=BC&Ne=4000000&N=4001462&Mo=10&pos=2&No=0&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=1236&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&Sp=C&ec=&topnav=) over this BH Photo camera (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=457262&is=REG)? Thanks!

the 28 135 is an okay lens but with the 5D, I wouldn't use anything other than an L lens due to the vignetting on the outer edges. If you don't mind buying used, you can find 5Ds for $2000-2200 on fredmiranda.com. If you can find a Dell coupon for 20%, you can get a new 5D down to about $2200-2300 for the body only. The Canon 17-40 f/4.0L is about $600 new, $500 used, and works well with the 5D. If you want a walk around lens with more reach, you can get the Canon 24-105 f/4.0L IS for about $1000-1100 after rebates.

Hey Derrict - I suppose I should have been more specific. I was wondering why the BHPhoto 5d camera was more expensive but only came with the body where as the Costco camera came with 2 lenses and still is cheaper.

Did I miss something there?

Canon double rebate: https://www.web-rebates.com/Canon/Graphics/CIWC-FA06.pdf

the 28-135 lens makes the 5D rebate of $300 become $600. If you buy any item on that rebate list, the 5D rebate becomes $600.

So if you buy the 5D from B&H (type is psnov in the search box for additional discounts on select items, then choose Canon):
$2744 ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=Search&A=details&Q=&sku=470368&is=REG&addedTroughType=search )

28 135 ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=Search&A=details&Q=&sku=149629&is=USA&addedTroughType=search )
$410

Subtract the $600 double rebate on the 5D and $40 double rebate on the 28 135 and the final is $2514.
