My band (including me), rawked the rockies this past weekend, and since I am a camera picture whore when the opportunity arises... PIX!

First up, I should probably post a picture of the band, since I don't think I've ever posted pictures of them (they're kind of camera shy).

Left to right: Joe (bass/vocals), Dave aka Mandri (drums/backup vocals), and Terry (guitars/vocals).

That's actually the worst hand damage I've ever had from drumming. I wasn't using my normal sticks, I was using some sticks I was given a while ago that have the ends covered with a very grippy rubber material. I used them last gig and they didn't do much damage (just the usual sort of damage, blisters and a bit of torn skin), but this time they wtfpwned my hand.

Needless to say I gave away as many of those sticks as I could to the crowd Friday night, and used my regular sticks for Saturday night.

As bad as it looks, it really didn't hurt all that much since the torn areas go numb pretty quick, and by the second night they had calloused over enough that I really didn't notice.

my cadets in the band use these graphite ones, they take less damage, but sound meh...works well when using just a snare though!.
