That will become a pretty lucrative business. Then again, I don't know how much it costs to fab a character with that amount of detail.

You can buy Fab@Home setups for around $3500. I hope this company has printers similar to movie production houses, but maybe that is possible. Here is a link in case anyone is interested: http://fabathome.org/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Stereolithography aint cheap. I am surprised that even at $99 per this is profitable for them.

remember in the 90s when those picures came out that looked like a bunch of jumbled colored dots until you stared at them cross eyed? They sold for huge amounts of money.

It's a new tech, /shrug.

I can't see spending $100 for that...$15 maybe, but $100?
