I caught a demo of Surface about 3 years ago. The equipment to run it was a little larger but the functionality was pretty much the same.

My group just happened to walk by where they were doing the demo and stopped in to watch it. That is one of the best parts of working there... You get to see a lot of things years ahead of everyone else.

As for discounts... hehehe .... If they ever offer Surface in the MS Store, I'll let you know :)
