You just need to put [img] tags around it. (Delete the asterisks below)

OMGZ hackz, how'd you get [img] into your sig?

it's not [img] it's [sigpic]

you have to upload an image to the server, max size is only 500x100 pixels or 19.5k. if it was [img] it would take up half the screen!

I don't see a problem with hawt anime grrls taking up half a screen. Nope, no problems.

Yeah, I enabled images awhile ago; had no idea it required a custom tag, hehe.

Anyway, I looked at the edit screen, and there's like this giant box just below the text entry section with places to define a custom image URL or whatever. Try using that!

It looks like Zeyla got it to work for him, so I may try again when I get off work.

I played around with the signature uploader on the forums for about 2 hours the other night and couldn't get the uploader to accept the URL.

Just kept telling me INVALID URL.

The key thing is to Upload the Signature Picture (on the Edit Sig page), then click the Insert Signature Picture link and it will put in the correct code to display the picture correctly.

It's kind of weird; the dynamic image URL should work but doesn't appear to for me.

Yeah, I set it up because I can't stand when people have signature images that are 50x7000, and you have to page down 73 times after they respond to some interesting post with "Yep".

There is a problem using the dynamic images created by the MMO Champion site, though, as the forums can't seem to use dynamic images in sigpic.

(Of course, I didn't even realize there was a custom code for sigpic's until today; had no idea how it restricted those images, I just knew that it did).

Ok, so I changed it; you can now use tags in signatures if you have the right user access levels (so basically, everyone but people who are just 'registered').

However, this is NOT a green light to use gigantic signature images. I will remove any signature images that negatively impact my forum reading experience (basically, if it annoys me - I'll nuke it).

[I]In general, if the contents of your signature are greater than the contents of your post; there's something wrong.

Text signatures make my pantaloons tingly.
