The PCI x16 slot on the motherboard is PCI Express 1.1 or 2.0 interface?

I have been running Vista 64 bit for a looong time...

You want a minimum of 4 GB RAM.

Are you buying Vista with the machine? ;)

no gonna hit you up for a cheap copy!

Screw Vista, just stick with XP... runs faster and isn't such a system hog. I have a similarly speced out system running 2GB ram, 8800GT 512MB video, and I can multi-task like crazy. I can be streaming music, have several web browsers/tabs open, ripping a DVD and playing WoW all at the same time with no trouble at all.... All on XP Pro 32-bit...

Unfortunately Zeyla, the MS Store no longer has XP :(

Lons: I'm not sure if I can purchase 64 bit fromthe store. I'll find out and let you know.

Zeyla, believe me I wasn't looking forward to moving up to Vista, but if I want to go with more ram than 3 gigs I have to move on.

If I don't want to have to install a fucking floppy drive, I have to move on or my beautiful SATA won't work unless I install a floppy drive or some 12 step trick program of ways to by pass it using iso and copys which knowing me I would fuck up.
