Do any game companies actually spit out stereoscopic outputs? I find it hard to believe, since there is so much processing just for one frame - they would probably have a heart attack if they had to do the same thing twice.

This might be a popular viewing format for some movies soon. Disney and Dreamworks are doing full releases in Stereoscopic 3D (since they can actually control the camera). ILM is responsible for the 3D behind Harry Potter and some others recently - but that seems more of a gimmick to get people into the theater, since the 3D snippets are 15-30 minutes long in length, versus the full-length feature animation.

So, it's neat - but in no way is it worth buying, unless you are developing your own stereoscopic renderings..

Seriously, check out the Dell's. Their flat-panels are great. Not to mention it's a great TX-based company!!
