Not that it matters but due to seniority (for me anyway - not implying this for everyone), below is how I'll be passing my mount if I win it:

Kripdiggler > Peotr > Rennys > Andriana > Everyone else. It's just not fair for anyone else to get their mount before these 4 since they have invested the most time in the runs...Especially Kripdiggler who re-specs for us each time just to run the ZA (not to mention I got most of my ZA experience from Krip and Zooq).

Everyone else is free to decide on their own.

I can't believe no one mentioned Math! Have to thank him for filling in on our first 2 healer run on Anzac!

bear #2 - Grats Me

I was intending to also pass since i consider myself a leader type and I feel a leader should be selfless. But when you guys passed it to me I was overwelmed with gratitude and not accepting would be dishonorable.

The way of the samurai!

Not all the kinks, we only got Krip's mount because we suffocated the enemy with our corpses the whole way there.

It's true - we had more than a dozen deaths before dropping the lynx boss. It's cool that we stayed focused and on track.

To do this bear run you have to use pretty much all that you have, and you have to do it as soon as you have it to use. I drank 16 potions before we finished the time portion, probably more than I have ever drunk in a raid. I used my Mana Tide totem seven times, which is right at the limit of how many times I could use it inside the time allowed.

You have to mount-and-go the moment it's time to go. You won't make it if you don't know when that is, and who has to be in front of you. You won't make it if you don't know where you have to stand, how and when to move, and where you're supposed to advance - especially during trash pulls. You won't make it if you don't know how to handle the little crisis (charm, scouts, birds, aggro handoffs, surprise tanking, deaths, fears, pathing, adds, loose mobs, splits, damage spikes, mana issues, or some fuckhead filling your bags with voodoo skulls.)

The greatest tragedy is someone dieing**; the second greatest tragedy is stopping to drink and regain mana. There is no stopping, there are no AFKs, there is no time to read strats, and there is no time to do loot comparisons.

The run is always heavy with risk. We do it with two healers, and two healers is risky. The tanks will drop to within 10% of death and thats always tense.

But once you can do it it's actually a lot of fun.

-- Peotr (The Normal Guy) ©™

P.S. ** Note: In truth, the greatest tragedy is being on time to complete your first successful bear run and having one of your healers get stuck on a bush. For five minutes.

P.P.S. Healers who get stuck on bushes or who cannot kill their Gorefiend constructs should not attempt this run.

P.P.P.S. Healers who cannot heal a fucking 11k HP blue/green wearing tank through heroic Arcatraz are teh l00ze, and should not attempt this run.

Grats again! Nice work -- though I think the reward isn't as awesome as the achievement itself. Keep it up :)
