Anyone so quick to bring out the ban stick has a little too much taste for power imo. Just because you are the moderator doesn't mean these are your boards. Druzzil going ffa is a very important thing that needs to be discussed. Banning /locking all the threads just cause you happen to be involved in it shows a real lack of character and responsibility.

Yea, I went there to check one of the threads I had posted in, and found that there was like 8 threads all locked. Some of them were getting kind of nasty, but not even all that bad. Others were completely civil and barely related to the whole FFA thing, and they were locked anyways. It's kind of a joke really.

I have banned less than 4 people in the past 2 years of administrating. Unfortunately, three of them were during the past week. For no reason other than spamming and profanity. In regards to Zerixia, she should know why I banned her. I did not delete her literary masterpieces... Golly gosh gee no. I immortalized them in the void. Joy!

None of those people were members of Hoss as far as I know.... I'll admit... I don't pay close attention to guildtags and politics. If someone was excessively vulgar and/or spamming, I probably banned their screenname. It's nothing personal, I just try to stop druzzil ro from becomming a cespool of flame. Trying to keep the peace. Why? Hmm.... It's not that it was my dream to become a janitor of a message board.... where did it all go wrong?

I volunteered some cash flow when the old EZ Op called it quits. As far as rumors go that I have low self esteem and like to have control of the boards because it gives me some feeling of power. Well, I'm not psycho like that. (unlike what my therepist and ex husband, and parole officer might tell you)

I fought to get the moderating done fairly and unbiasedly. I just wanted to help make a place for people of different guilds to chat about everquest (while they aren't playing everquest). Most likely, I will be not moderating much longer, and the boards will be left under Flatin's care. I don't care to make or to take the game serious or personal. I never did care to participate in fake politics... and being a board nazi isn't my schtick.

We now return you to your regularily scheduled board nazi stoning, live and in progress. :p

It's a matter of perspective. It's dependant upon which side you are on, when the flame thread starts. You can be either mad at the moderator for locking the thread, or you can be mad at them for not locking it sooner. It depends on who is getting slammed, and who is having the most fun slamming. (Bah- laugh it up.)

The moderators can't make people stop posting idiocy on the boards. They do the best that they can amidst the board trolls, but they cannot completely stop it. It would be less futile to try and teach a kewl dewd how to use things like ettiquette, proper sentence construction, grammar, or punctuation. ... and speaking of Zerixia, I didn't have a problem with her, except for the incessant profanity and the personal attacks. Being immature never was against the rules of the boards. I don't know much about this person, other than "she" appears to be extremely sensitive to being called a male child.


Feel free to post on the boards. ... Or don't. It's up to you, really.

Arguing is stupid. In a battle based upon opinions no one is the winner. There is no judge that is going to make a final statement saying, I declare reason_01 the winner. Call me a name, ok lets say asshole. Now define asshole. Using facts you won't be able to pin me to that definition. Instead, you use your opinions and declare me it. Do I care?
