Apparently by doing a BG you get a tabard. By winning a BG, you have the chance to get the pet!

In just two BGs (results may vary)...

I think its one of the coolest pets, shame like everyone on the server will have one soon. :)

Aniaa roped me into an AV we won, I got the pet and a tabard and then logged, yay for event!

Took me about 4 AV wins for the pet, it was worth it though.

they should do the same thing for tabards that they're doing for the pet banks

Oh Good idea Nexten! Thats why I don't collect tabards.. no room! Pets are prettier! Sometimes anyway.
