Ok so.. aside from not having Adblock Plus - this browser is far better than anything I've ever used.
What does everyone else think?

Things I miss:
Right click select reload instead of moving up to hit the reload button that fire fox and IE have.
Search Window, I know you can search in the main window, but the window allowed you to search other places and even in other tabs that the main one on both fire fox and IE.
Ad-Block nuff said.
I'm sure there will be someone to write this particular mod, but Firefox has one that I use at work all the time that randomly renames your open tabs to something innocuous so if someone is snooping over your shoulder at work they can't see where you are browsing if you are on another tab.
The spell checker is ok, but not as good as fire fox.
The look and feel and pure SPEED though, is enough for me to forgive this first installment.

For a first browser attempt that's in it first beta I think it has plenty of promise. Nice clean UI and fast load speeds make it nice. Also a solid anon option that doesn't seem to crash the browser.
One thing to note is that Google is sharing all of "their" optimized code with Webkit (the open source behind Safari) and Mozilla.

The new bar actually replaces and improves upon the old search bar concept. It has the ability to quickly add new search engines into the main bar search system, and you can customize keywords to each search.
So.. I can open a new tab and type "imdb spiderman"; and I get IMDB search results for Spiderman. I've got keywords for Wowhead (wh); Armory (armory); Wikipedia (wiki); WoWWiki (wwiki).
And the best part is that any website that passes normal arguments into a search engine can be manually added in the event Chrome doesn't pick up on it by itself (Armory didn't work initially, and I was able to just copy a search URL and replace the search term and it was working all the way).

I'll have to try it when my computer stops acting up. Getting tired of Firefox 3's need to allocate a ton of memory *after* I've been reading the same page for a few min. Firefox just feels free now, and IE7 is just Vista IE6.

I tried Acid3 earlier and only got 55/100; just now got 77/100. Although this could be due to the Acid site being overwhelmed with people testing Chrome on it.

I like the "incognito" function..
Going incognito doesn't affect the behavior of other people, servers, or software. Be wary of:
-Websites that collect or share information about you
-Internet service providers or employers that track the pages you visit
-Malicious software that tracks your keystrokes in exchange for free smileys
-Surveillance by secret agents
-People standing behind you
They've got some comedians over at Google.

Anyone notice when you're looking at someones items on Armory, when you hover over an item it doesn't exactly put the little popup stat window on the cursor if the page is scrolled down? Lowish resolution on my laptop so I have to scroll to view the rest of the profile (poor me). That's my only problem with it, haha.
javascript support seems to be a bit buggy still, but its beta after all. Pretty impressive so far in regards to loading time.

I wonder how much of Webkit they will implement as Chrome's rendering engine / how up to date it would be compared to the nightly Webkit builds.
Anyone know if Chrome is using Webkit's Squirrelfish Javascript engine?

That's a constant problem for me using Webkit... I'm not entirely sure if it's Webkit's fault, of if it's wowarmory's code that is doing that.

It uses a mix of vegtables and fruits to render the images.

Chrome seems so lightweight, its almost flimsy. Has an odd feeling to it really. And I hear by using it Google has rights to whatever you enter into it, but that may just be slander and hearsay.

Some folks think it's just a common practice of copy and pasting the EULA from one source (Google's internet services) to another (Google's web browser) and that the browser will soon have it's own unique EULA.
But, who knows?
