Lol Reedemus / Doma.. Clutter? It is quite organized in my mind :P And I access all those skills from action bars on left with blind keystrokes.. I don't have to look over there much at all, except to monitor a few cooldowns.

The set of 12 buttons to the left (3 rows) are the three rows of the following keys on keyboard:
QWER
ASDF
ZXCV
I access all 12 of these abilities with ALT+Key.. e.g. ALT-S for stun.

Btw, Alt-3 is Holy Light.. (a macro).. but I need to fix the macro icon so it doesn't show Essence of Martyr trink (which the macro pops).

Lol, rogues have a lot less skills they need to access then a pally. My rogue UI looks a lot like yours Doma :)

My UI is not cluttered at all lol. actionbars on left, grid , msg, some big buttons.. meter. All evenly aligned at the bottom. SHrug:P And to me a party window is clutter on a raid, I have it turned off.

I could show you my druid's UI, who has just as many, if not more skills to use, than you have displayed. Its almost the same.

Shrug, show me the UI you use for Tehdale for comparison. I have mine configured like I do for reasons :P I also have access to every paladin skill without paging.

Hrmm.. since I wanted grid on the bottom and towards the center of the screen (for quicker access in healing), i had a lot of room on the bottom row for the stuff to the right (the extra buttons to right of msg window).. Saw no reason not to just extend the entire bottom row across my widescreen HD monitor:P Notice there are 6 buttons available that are large, for those abilities I wanna click quickly (without a keystroke assigned to them). All the abilites to the left of the grid are key assigned, I dont' clikc on any of them.

My UI for healing is DRASTICALLY different.

I actually move Grid almost directly over my character to help prevent "Grid Locking" and promote better awareness of fire and various other things.

I keep the party screen, kick omen, and go back to a default bar. I dont even put the heals on it, just reactionary skills (Seals//Judgement, BOP, etc). Heals assigned to click. Macro for trinkets.

I guess I am the exception :P I use a shitload of my skills on raids w/o paging or manually clicking any icon :) And I don't rely on clique for anything; I can do anything with keyboard that I can do with clique. However, I do use clique for a some things as convenience. But when I am repositioning myself (e.g. mouse look or move) I still want to be able to cast something via keyboard. So all my skills are available as action bar buttons as well as many via clique.

I also want access to all my skills with absolutely no button paging, at all times. And having two different skills assigned to the same action key on different pages, is confusing to me. They are always there for me to instantly use with my current configuration of 30 mappings.

I agree it saves screen space yes :) As far as saving lives, that is my job, and I instantly have access to all my skills without looking at keyboard or having to press two sets of keys paging :) So I save lives faster :) One can fumble the keyboard paging, at least I know I probably would.. hate paging :P

Yea, but if you don't have to look at the keyboard to use the skills, why have them so sectioned off and big? Icky!

You can also set them to fade unless you mouse over them, just to clear up some extra space. I've done that :)

hehe, i dont' want them to fade then my bottom row looks funky and uneven :P oh well to each their own.. I've seen a lot of UI's and I <3 my current configuraiton for healing etc. :P

Yeah I had already seen your UI red, I like mine better :) And I have 30 abilities mapped to action buttons. At least when rogues stealth they automatically get another action bar that pops up over other. I have more skills that dont' do auto paging.

Oh btw that UI screenshot is a little old. The 3x3 large buttons to right of msg window were replaced by 2 x2 larger buttons.. and 1 row of 4 smaller buttons underneath :P

We only use one ability from the bar, then it gets swapped out. Could just as easily have an addon to do it for us if it didn't automagically do it already, and its not all that hard to switch from one action bar to the other to do completely different things :)

omgz i wish i'd nevar made this post! :P

I use tons of abilites when I am stealthed that pop up when stealthed. sap, distract, cheap shot, garrote, pick pocket, ambush, etc..

Oh also realize I have an HD TV for my monitor which has less vertical pixels.. 1080 versus 1200.. so there is less vertical viewing space. I also made everything big (like the target windows and chat) because I am sitting on a recliner about 4 feet from the screen, and looking at it without my glasses on (near sighted) :P
