You could argue that any item could have multiple meanings, depending on where you grew up, location, education level. Nothing wrong with people feeling passionate about things that remind them of injustice.

I laugh at the dumb asses all over the country who think that's the confederate flag...That's a confederate battle standard..One of I believe 13 "Confederate flags". The actual Confederate national flag had a circle and some stars or something like that.
