I doubt this movie gets much recognition as the ending is not the typical hollywood ending. It moved slow at times, but I have to say the graphics and CGI were top notch and I say that as someone that generally HATES CGI. I'm trying not to spoil anything here so I'll be brief on those scenes.
I thought it followed logic pretty well given what was seen, I do not know much about astrophysics to know how the ending would be very believable or not to someone that was in the know. But I have to say the movie was great and enthralling and Nicholas Cage still makes movies against the grain even if he does do movies like The Rock occasionally to pay the bills.
Not exactly a date flick, but still a great one to see. Lot more entertaining and moving than Watchmen was.
