Darksiders PS3/Xbox 360

Has anyone bought this game yet? It says it's release date is January 05. The game looks really cool (like God of War 3 play style / Ninja Gaiden). If you have any input on the game - thanks in advanced!

It looks really good but the only game I can be bothered getting this month is Mass Effect 2 which I already pre-ordered :p Apparantly Darksiders is the bastard child of Ocarina of Time and God of War. IGN reviews it well giving it an 8.9 (In the UK anyway). Basically if you like Zelda, buy this game!

Speaking of Mass Effect 2 (a Bioware game), a friend got me a different Bioware game, Dragon Age Origins, for Christmas. That is a great game!

I've heard that Assassin's Creed 2 is fantastic! Though that one is not a Bioware game like Mass Effect (1 and 2) and Dragon Age Origins :)

Bayonetta is the way to go. =P That and I'm waiting for Dante's Inferno. Surprised they allowed the demo on xbox live with all the nudeness on it

Dragon age is like Knights of the Old Republic or mass Effect except more medieval and more combat orientated.

DA:O is a RPG game with a fair amount of third person fighting. One friend played it onthe Xbox360 and loved it. Another is playing it on the computer and loves it. I am playing it on the PS3 and love it... Though my only complaint is that there are a lot of spells/items I want to map to a button. However with the PS3, I can only map 6 of them. On the computer a friend has 40 combinations mapped.

Bayonetta does look awesome but I wouldn't ever buy it on the PS3. It's one of the worst conversions I have ever seen.

I bought City of Heroes yesterday for BB and was disappointed to find a monbthly charge commitment.

WoW is my only commitment game. Are these games monthly chargers too?

DA:O is not a monthly charge. One time purchase only. I believe there is an online ability to play and there may be a charge for that... however, I am not connected to the internet and I am doing just fine playing the game solo :)

The online mode is just to update your profile with achievements. No payment necessary.

Back to the original question Ang, it's out but I know nothing about it. :)

DA was good, but it ended way too fast. The ending kind of left me bleh, but the game play up to that point was cool.

To answer Ang, one of my co-workers said Darksiders was kind of boring in combat, its a ton of just 1 button ( X ) pressing according to him. I started downloading it tonight, I will know for myself when I burn and play it tomorrow.

I never played ME 1, but It looked cool.
