Not sure if anyone ever played this, but Sony announced they will be closing the game down for good in December.

The nice thing is, it is now free to play. If you want to hop on to play again, look for me on the Starsider server (they are allowing free server transfers as well). The server is actually pretty populated at the moment, so feel free to join in.

I hear ya. I was going to log in and start playing this until closing as well. Instead I am giving Star Wars Galaxies Emu, its Pre-CU. Quite fun and runnable on my machine thankfully. As I too am antsy for SWTOR.
