Not sure if anyone has been following this, but HP is getting out of the tablet business and had a massive sale on their Touchpads.

There "should" be more coming soon into stock from the warehouses, and if you want one I would recommend checking it daily.

32 GB for $149 (http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/store_access.do?product_code=FB359UA%23ABA&template_type=product_detail&jumpid=ex_r11614_us/en/HHO_r329/Affiliate/FY11/TouchPad&aoid=35252)

16GB for $99 (http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/store_access.do?product_code=FB355UA%23ABA&template_type=product_detail&aoid=35252&jumpid=ex_r11614_us/en/HHO_r329/Affiliate/FY11/TouchPad)

Couple of things to keep in mind..

1. There is no warranty on these since they are eliminating the line.
2. Someone is coming up with the Droid Gingerbread platform to use on this tablet, so you will be able to root it and re-load a new OS on it.
3. If anyone is lucky enough to find one at this price...let me know!! :)

Funny how those things didnothing but collect dust until this price break. Ive seen a couple hundred sold in the past few days, its crazy how a price drop can make people frenzy for an item. Sold my last 7 this morning to a line outside. Although employees seemed to be buying them in bulk when the limit is 1 per, but a lot of people are about to be terminated for that one. Think 32 gigs are the last coming from the DC's on Friday evening. The thing is a piece of junk, get a real tablet. =)p

Ya they aren't the best tablet out there, but if you want one and don't have a lot of $$ to spend it's not a bad deal.

I thought about it for about 1.2 seconds, then I remembered I already had two iPads in the house.

If you can get one....might be a good test device for when you make more Droid apps!! (If you can ever pull yourself away from Apple that is..lol) :D

I'm still looking for one. $100 is just the right price for something i'm only going to use to occasionally watch videos on and browse the web while sitting on the couch or lying in bed. Don't care that it lacks all the iPad apps, because they aren't worth all that much to me, and I'd never get the $500 or so value out of using it.

Buy it, use it, break it, fix it, trash it, change it, now upgrade it.

I looked, Newegg is sold out, HP is sold out, Bestbuy is sold out. Not sure if you can even find one unless you look on eBay and they are all in the 200's there for some odd reason. Dumbasses thought they would be able to sell that shit for over priced. Hello? Folks just wanted one cause they were cheap. Price it out of cheap and they are no longer wanted dumbasses.

Almost everyone sold out last Friday actually. Most places oversold in fact (way to fail at keeping track of inventory). I'm still hoping HP will get some on their online store soon, and that i'll notice in time to buy.

Two comments:

1. Berae, you little prick.

2. It doesn't matter how many times it happens, I still watch all the way to the end.
