and I did have one !!! just not on the computer /sigh LOL but now i have a good power supply with a surge protector LOL dont want another 400 dollar opps ;) and it was 3.99 for surge protecter =D lol

We had a surge at the office one time, and it ended up permanently messing up one of the computers, even though it had an APC UPS on it. Problem was, the computer still worked most of the time, it just tended to crash when using certain programs. APC and our own network service guys both refused to replace the computer, which sorta sucked. It also fried our coffee machine :/
