Cause EQ has no competant testers working for them whatsoever. The graphic when wielded also looks like a scimitar so it's not like they named it wrong.

Tallon Zek is a Ranger and a pretty tough fight (obviously, since he's a Ranger!!). Vallon on the other hand is a complete and utter joke. How can you call yourself a diety when your opponents can leave you hanging with 1 percent life left for around 15 minutes while they casually sit around, rebuff and regain mana? hahaha. You had to be there but when Vallon actually died it was damned funny.
