Well it's out, the new audioslave cd with Rage Against the machine and Chris Cornell from Soundgarden. I am fan of Rage and Soundgarden. I have been listening to it over and over for the last few hours and it's great. If you are a fan of both bands I highly recommend it.

Yep.. a great blend of both soundgarden and rage, yet not really either band.

Gasoline, What You Are, Like a Stone, I Am The Highway, and Hypnotize are my standout tracks.. but really everything is good.

This one stays in my changer..

I personally think it's a solid CD. No, there is nothing new or particularily interesting about it, but I like it anyway. Like a Stone has one of the coolest solos I have heard in awhile.

Maybe that's why I like it, it is one of the few recent albums that actually HAS guitar solos, and good ones.

I love it, after listening to it again for the 40th time lastnight, I got all nostalgic and pulled out all my soundgarden CD's while playing EQ it was great. Chris Cornell has a great voice and with the musicall talents from Rage it makes for a nice blend.
