Hahahahha i've been playing since Alpha... and quit my junior year of high school around.. 1997-98. I have Black Lotus, all original Moxes and omgomgomgomg thousands of rare cards~~~. TOO BAD THEY'RE ROTTING IN MY BASEMENT CAUSE THE GAME IS STUPID~

Yah, I know that at least one specific Hoss-man (no names...giggle) is a WotC employee, but somehow I doubt he's gonna run to James and tell him to yank my certification..;-) That will happen soon enough once they realize I didn't recert this past year.

I judge here in florida for unity events. They have the rights to all pro events here in the state. I also play off and on when I get the chance. Still love the game very much so not interested in selling any cards. =D

Nope no mox or lotus anymore =/ sold off that stuff a couple years ago. When i was heavy into mtg it was prolly late 1994 early 1995. Zak Dolan was like the mtg champ, but if you ask me the deck that he played kinca blew =p. Then again most people basically played disrupting sceptre, moat, manadrain decks, with serra angels. I always liked kird ape/serendib efreets always wanted to bust out the big berserk damage lol. Damn Ive been a nerd for a long time =/ mtg - UO - EQ.

Zak's deckstyle was actually pretty similar to what I played at the time, except I didn't have the Hollowed Ground 'tech' that he had (against LD...which was actually a viable deck back then).

Especially liked the Beta Reverse Damage...man that card looked yummy... (similar with Beta Mana Short)

As for lotus, well, in good shape (like, NM) you are talking 250-300 dollars, 150 or so for Ancestral, maybe 120 for Time Walk.

But Vinen, aren't you, like, under 20? And since those sets came out about 8.5 years ago (or even 9.5), that would mean you were one of the VERY few people under the age of, what, 11 playing at the time? Most players then were College age folks since they were the target 'convention' folks the game was originally aimed at (and designed by). Heck I was out of college when it came out (damn I'm old).

But anyway, if you are looking for newer cards, I have pretty much many multiples of anything from Invasion on. I have tons of older cards too, but those are mostly sold off because I have little use for them any more (like, who needs 50 lightning bolts?).

I am still a huge fan of Asian cards. 3 full sets of Asian Odyssey and the like. I buy Asian product by the case because it's so much cooler. Stupid English text, so boring..

Oh yeah, and I saw at least one person who is DEFINATELY from Hoss on Magic Online a couple days back, in a league I was playing it (7th edition, to be precise).

Managed to go 5-0 first week there, some good..

The power 9 as they are called (5 mox's,lotus,acall,time walk,timetwister) are all pretty expensive. Black lotus going for as much as 400 dollars for a mint beta. Just try and find a tourney where they are legal. Haven't seen a type1 (classic) tourney in a few years so those cards arent worth much more than the prestige of their power/rarity. Can think of alot of much cheaper cards Id pick over most of those.

BTW There is a PTQ in clermont florida at jenkins auditorium on feb 15. I will be there.

BTW, we should all congratulate Clavichu on winning the Seattle area PTQ for Pro Tour Venice. He will be busting out the gobblins on the unsespecting masses I am sure.
