Bought the CD yesterday. Really liked the single they have out on the radio - "Like a Stone."

Friend said the makeup of the band is pretty much:
lead singer of Soundgarden + backup band of Rage Against the Machine.

Sounds like a cross between the old Red Hot Chili Peppers and Aerosmith. Not sure what to say...

Single is good, but doesn't really sound like the rest of the album.

First single was Cochise, which was much more representative of the rest of the album. There are a number of slower, softer songs on the album, but for the most part it is much heavier and louder.

I wouldn't say it sounds anything like RHCP or Aerosmith :).

My way of describing it is that it sounds like Chris Cornell singing, and Tom Morello playing guitar :D.

That should be enough to sell it to anyone!

I forget which song it is, but it totally reminded me of an older Aerosmith song... I'll listen to it again tonight and find it! :)
