btw, a good bandwidth tester is Speakeasy's. I personally use sea.speakeasy.net, but they have other ones as well (that one is in Seattle). Maybe there is a list somewhere of them, personally I have found guessing works. nyc.speakeasy.net works as well, probably others as well.

My home connection is 6mbps/600kbps at night, and about half that during the day. My office is only 600kbps/150kbps now that we are on DSL :/. With wireless/radio we were up around 800/1000, which was nice!

Considering my home connection is like 30 bucks a month CDN, I am okay with having a potential 6 meg pipe!

I WAS going to get cable this month. Then the department of transportation broke the fiber they laid down, while putting up a street light. ETA until fixed: 6 months.

similar connection as Stitz has i think, around 1000 students here with 3*100mbit to the local university, got no clue about what kinda connection they have out of the university tho.
