Can you ask your guild if anyone wants to buy a lodizal shell shield?
That was the only sentence that didn't fit in context with your message. It should have been "Can U ask ur guild if ne1 wants to buy a lod shell shield". Hehe

I absolutely agree. Down with d00dspeak ;)
I would venture to say that I may well be the slowest, least coordinated typist in Hoss.....and I still take the time to pretty much say what I want to say in actual english terms.
I try to not be predjudicial or biased in my interactions with others in EQ but generally speaking.....when my first contact with someone is full of that kind of stuff it leaves an immediate bad impression.
Don't get me wrong. I've used speech like that in the past....sometimes it's funny or even appropriate.....but when it is your preferred method of communication then I have a hard time seeing an intelligent, thoughtful person sitting at the keyboard.
Then again, I'm an arrogant, snotty prick :D

I do use things like wanna, gonna, in games, mainly because it's faster, and sometimes there isn't a lot of time to type, like during combat, or running around that requires constant steering.
In emails however, and postings, I try to be as correct as possible.

I don't have a problem with most contractions and acronyms (btw, wtf etc), it's the miss spellings and using alternate characters that bugs the shit out of me.

It said Whurd, Eomer lex =/ Down with d00d speak though i mean seriously anyone who replaces characters in words is taking alot more time to figure those characters out then just typing the correct spelling and punctuation.
