how do i make alt tap work!
normal ctrl+alt+r EQw is a pain because my alt key is semi broken

You have to download the Windows Compatability Toolkit from Microsoft.

Then, in the Compatability Manager disable the fix for Everquest for Alt + tabbing.

I'm curious.....does EQW allow you to play 2 accounts reliably? I haven't used eqw since they made eq able to be windowed....I can surf the net when I'm medding or waiting on something now so I just haven't bothered with making eqw work. But there might be a time when I felt like playing 2 toons so it might be worth the effort if it works.

Yes. Very reliably, and better than doing it on 2 PCs, imo.

You need a non-suck machine to do it though.

can duel box with EQW on my laptop on a 56k. On raids at times as well. Just gets sketcy at random times.

Cool....I'll have to give it a try sometime when I'm feeling bored. Of course my duel boxing is pretty much limited to an SK and a rogue.....not the most useful of combos heh. Plus trying to play 2 melee's efficiently is a pain in the ass at the best of times.
