We finally killed H. Gunship v2.0 after much wiping and cursing of buggy deck fire. Sadly, I don't have a video of this happy event since our usual frapser (yep, totally a word) wasn't in the raid and the backup FAILED TO HIT THE RECORD KEY. Since we also don't take screen caps (or at least I don't), you'll just have to use your imagination.

One thing to note, contrary to our usual first kills where the rogue winds up evasion tanking, this kill was actually remarkably clean.... I think someone replaced my raid group. We shall update with a video once we get one posted....

So, after a somewhat embarrassing delay, here's the Zon'ozz kill video! I blame our videographer who apparently uploads files to YouTube by calling up the engineers over the phone and yelling "1011110000!".



In other fashionably late news, we've finally killed H. Hagara 10. After much crying and sobbing (by me), we finally fixed our strategy on Hagara and punched her in the face. *UPDATED* Video is up. I'd post a screenshot here, but really, we're just too lazy and forgetful to take screenshots. Feel free to view any Hagara kill screenshot online and MS Paint Hoss over it.



Lastly, I suppose I should mention our kill of H. Ultraxion... despite killing him/her/it a month ago.


On the loot drop front, we are still getting boned by Blizzard's RNG. Still half a raid full of vanquishers... and most people don't have their 4 pc. bonus or are still using raid finder pieces for the 4 pc. bonus. Massive failure on Blizzard's part.

Whelp, with some nudging and not so subtle hints, I was instructed to update the news. We're currently sitting at 3/8H (Zon'ozz, Yor'sahj, and Morcock/Cockmor). Oh, we've also smacked around Deathwing a bit. As is our tradition, Blizzard loot RNG has again decided that we don't deserve useful loot. Half a raid of vanquishers? No vanquisher tokens for YOU!

After stalling a bit due to various issues, we took full advantage of the nerf to pick up three more heroic kills.

Hoss defeated Ragnaros 25M on Thursday. The nerf makes most of his abilities (minus smash and engulfing flames) healable. We did it w/o our two best healers and only had 24 players so that should tell you something. I think he would have died this week regardless. Here's the obligatory screenshot:



I would be remiss if I didn't mention that we also killed Majordomo Staghelm on 25M a couple of times now, so here's a screen of that too.

Hoss had another 10 man kill Ragnaros last Thursday. It's a fun fight once you really "get" it, Phase 3 is controlled chaos and really livens it up. I have to say though, wiping 8 minutes+ into this fight gets old pretty quickly. Any fight that is that long really, I think Blizz needs to implement "save points" for fights like that. So anyway, it was a pretty good kill except for one of our melee just standing there and letting a meteor smash him in the face, *cough* Moby *cough*. Screenshot and video below! Good job everyone.
