I like Van a lot even though he has some issues sometimes and needs to chill just a lil... "Are you threatening me?!?" :p

I also lub Drakky even though he and I have been known to go several rounds toe-to-toe on these very boards and he used to make me mad by typing over /gu "HUSH VINILAA YOU ARE MINE, DO AS I SAY...HUSH!" (or something silly like that) whenever I'd say anything over /gu :p :rolleyes:

We had snow most of last week here in NY too. Someone up there must have finally realized that it's halfway through April and the weather isn't supposed to still suck. The last few days have actually been in the 60s...and OMG Ive seen the sun!!

I must admit to a certain guilty pleasure at reading these boards whenever a "fight" breaks out. I think that all of us(myself definitely included) have a tendency to take both ourselves and our video game hobbies *cough* addictions...too seriously. I guess I find it funny to watch when that seriousness turns into a poop throwing contest over trivial stuff :D

In regards to the quitting/not quitting...omg how can you still play this game issue? Hell I spent near enough 4 years wrapped up in it myself and even if it did finally run its course for me, I can more than understand that for many it hasn't yet. I'm just glad that I still have these boards with which to keep in touch somewhat with the people I shared that EQ experience with.

For those that HAVE moved on....I did wind up buying Shadowbane. It looks pretty cool at least from my first impessions. The graphics aren't stellar and the UI takes some getting used to especially coming from the EQ interface but from a gameplay and content perspective I'm pretty pleased so far. Looks like decent balance and plenty to do to keep you occupied. Leveling isn't so easy as to be trivial but nothing compared to the slow going of the mid to high levels of EQ, if my limited experience and the words of friends at a much higher level can be believed.


Everyone can go back to what they were doing now...nothing to see here....mOVE along ;)
