Thanks to some good old friends (and a couple new ones), I've kept my mind off of the bitter news, and tried to enjoy life. I consider myself blessed to have men and women in my life that don't dip out when the going gets rough. I am as supportive as possible for my father, as he's had to watch his father, brother, and mother pass away over the last 5 years. I can't imagine the kind of overwhelming loneliness he's feeling right now. :(
I have to help set up funeral proceedings, then I'm being drug out to a bar with drinks on her...hug your loved ones for me; you never know when you could lose them.
