I'm an admin on a message board that is completely overrun with spam...we have the lil "type in the letters" thingy for new members....i don't know what else to do, i'm so tired of deleting hundreds of posts every day... can anyone give me ideas?

What forum software are you using?

Manual account validation worked for me, you usually recognise the fake e-mail adresses. Also which forums are you using?

Also, define "type in the letters" cause theres a difference between CAPTCHA and shitty versions (usually PHPNuke) that can be easily beaten.
