I'd remove the bottom fubar and move all that up tot he top, would allow for more stuff to be on the bottom or to move more stuff further down at least. Also if you don't have a window set aside for just tells you might find you are missing some tells from time to time. I have a window for guild, party, and raid chat and another for tells, says, and emotes.
yes but doesn't that get cluttered
well just look at my screen shot up top there, you can see I just use icons for the most part for fubar and the sort. Not sure how big your screen is as mine is 24" but you can change the size of your UI by going into video options and clicking use UI scaling and making it smaller and your font larger so that you can read.
thicker skin... if you can get 2k for the sunmote, grats. I sold one for 1500ish.
So Lons does the same go for everyone in guild that has sold one?? Faulkner said he sold one.... Soo black list everyone who sells what they EARN in a pug that is NON-guild?? BS if you ask me. I guess now ppl have been warned... send any sun motes you get to an alt if you plan on selling them. That is an alt that Hoss does not know about...
Yes, they earned it and should have enough fucking sense to know that they might need it in the not so distant future and to hold on to it and not expect the guild to supply them with more when they could have just kept it. I fail to understand why you or anyone else in this guild would not see the logic in this.
Well just keeping it for your own personal use.. I understand that Lons. Just saying just b/c they choose to sell it they shouldn't be completely ignored if they request a sunmote from the Gbank, if no one else needs one at the time. /shrug
To go a step further on this. To maybe shine a little more light on this subject. He is profiting from selling an item that he will need sooner or later and see as the price will obviously not be going down in the interim, probably up. It's as if the guild is just handing him 2k gold when he asks for one later.
While he did get this on his own, it is a material used in high end designs that the guild will be getting later and that I have no doubt he will want and be if not the one of the first folks in line sucking off the guilds tit to get, so he can have this made.
Anyone that is stupid enough to sell one of these and has any inkling of the future and what gear they will make for them have to be some of the most retarded dumb asses on the planet and yes this includes Faulkner or anyone else that sells one of these.
My two cents.
While I agree that people should be able to do what they wish with their time, they should also be able to see the bigger picture... especially in such a high-end environment as an end-game raiding guild.
To me, Hoss is more important than my individual gains//losses while playing this game. I, as well as any other player in the history of WoW, amass various items. Some of these items are of little benefit, some of them increase productivity. Generally, I have enough to sense to know to discard the little benefit items for personal gain and donate the higher productivity items to a place where I know they will be used for the betterment of OUR GUILD.
As an example, one of my primary means of income inside of WoW was farming, and later selling, hundreds upon hundreds of Scryer rep items. Apon joining Hoss, I realized that they could be better used sitting in the guild bank and helping members who had yet to attain exhalted status, barring them from an improvement in gear via a shoulder enchant. Now, every Signet and Tome I find winds its way into the guild bank.
I wouldn't, and will never, demand the same item management from other players. I will, and do, encourage like-mindedness in this issue. After all, helping us help ourselves ends up benefitting everyone.
Supply and demand...
Right now there are a few pug groups that are farming the first pack of trash in SWP. It is profoundly tedious.
I shopped my sunmote drop around to SWP raiding guilds. Most felt that their guilds had sufficient stock of motes and didn't need to buy them on the open market.
From this I concluded that the people regularly raiding in SWP don't need to pay 2k for a mote. The folks paying 2k for a mote are suckers who think that somehow having some end game trash drop is going to make them a better player in the short term. I am perfectly happy to sell while demand is hot.
If anything, just keep enough motes for yourself, sell the rest :D
While I agree with you both, Lons and Doma..... I was just saying that a person selling a sun mote shouldn't be completely BANNED from from getting a sun mote if needed. I hope you can understand that. Last on the list maybe??? Idk.
Although, I have a feeling now if anyone gets a sun mote that they will not be talking about it in guild, if they plan on selling it. Personally, I would not sell one. Hang on to it, yes.
Don't you edit my stuff!!!! /GRRRR
