I was ok until he said "someone get these motherfucking snakes off my motherfucking Eisner award"



seriously having read Eisner's stuff, knowing this is not only an adaptation but also a FM adaptation, and how it already has a Sin City vibe to it, I'm walking in trying to take this as it stands on its own; as a Frank Miller piece not really an Eisner piece


but still it's so very cool to see an "adult" side of comic books becoming mainstream where tights are morphing into the psychological tic everyone has at some point where we cease to be ourselves and exist instead in the same world but as someone who has the power to better (or worsen) it.

40-50 years delayed but its almost cool to be seen reading graphic novels in a bus a la Japanese culture now
