Anyone else getting tired of the "pay $50 for alpha access" crap?
yeah that seems to be the model lots of these studios are using. kickstarter thing seems to be huge.Quote:

The cool part I think is maybe it allows smaller studios and startups to get things moving with a grass roots type support from players who are attracted to the vision.
in any event this is the first project i actually ponied up and kickstarted on with the $25 fee, so i suppose I will be seeing alpha at the end of november.
