I'm no more happy about it than you are, especially since I was supposed to be on the southern side of Nashville when it all went down, but I haven't really come to expect much else.
I think the nashville flooding is a little different than an entire country going up in flames due to an earthquake or the oil spill that will effect the entire northern coast line of the gulf of mexico or a terrorist attack that made people remember 9/11 or the katrina hurricane that killed almost 2,000 people. Is it shitty that no help or media coverage is targeting Nashville? Of course. Nothing we can do about it, but the other events are no small events either and they just sell better than flooding with as many as 30 people dead. Face it, the media is out to make money, not gather news. What sells sells.
That is the sickening truth.
