    Life After WoW

Here's what I've been doing in my spare time. It's called Belegarth, a group of people gathering together with foam weapons waging war in local parks.
swords and various other weapons are made from PVC pipe and closed cell foam. complete rules and instructions for making weapons can be found almost any realm website. Its a nationwide organization, you can join up and fight with friends in a city near you!

here's the website for my realm Ebonhold.com

First pic: me in my chain shirt flanking right.

Pic #2: The lines clash. I'm in the center with the skull shield.

    Pic #3: More mayhem.

Pic #4: A shot of the line before combat begins.

    Edit: fixed link.

Sadly the only magic we can use is healing spells. Write a 200+ word poem that you can recite on the battlefield and you can heal a lost limb O.o

Wow you just put a new level to just how far a nerd will go. Not that I can say anything I play WoW, but still I could never dressed up and make believe I'm really a knight or something, more power to you!

It's not so much pretending to be a real knight as it is beating the crap out of your friends with nerf sticks to me. Some of the other guys get all into the roleplay and such way more than I do. I wont deny my nerditude though. I guess it is more of a sport in my mind than anything else.

I did this a lot with friends of mine back around highschool. It was a bad ass workout. The difference is, I think, we used thin cpvc, thin padding, and we beat the shit out of each other. I wouldn't call it a real duel, but it was as close as we could come. Good fun. No constumes, though.

Adeptus, (Mike) had a rep for always hitting people in the balls / head. The best part is, he'd just look at you and laugh while saying sorry! Which was usually 3 times per person per night.

That is one hell of a motley assortment of garb.

Did this when i was in Highschool. Called Amptguard.

Did the whole pvc and foamy stuff. When we made a weapon, they tested to see if it was legal by taking it and beating, or attempting to beat, the snot out of you with it. If they succeed, in said beating, then the weapon was illegal. Was rather um... interesting.

    Does anybody ever cry?

I was looking at your guild/realm whatever page and looking at your screenshots from the past couple years, very interesting. I also see that I can pay $5 to learn how to do that street performer fire breather routine stuff? And they've organized hanging around making jell-o shots and brewing beer, free after mat costs?

    Fuck ... yes.
