WoW will definately work on that comp without any trouble, probably on highest setting unless you're in a raid or something.

As for Halflife2, I'm convinced it will work, but not sure you can run it on the highest .

If you were to upgrade something on that comp, I'd look towards the harddrive or the memory. 80gb worth of space isn't a whole lot of room to move around on, but if you're just looking to play a few games off and on, it'll probably be enough. If you're gonna watch movies and stuff on the computer, you'll probably want bigger. As for the memory, 1gb is more or less standard now, but you'd probably notice a pretty big leap in performance in WoW for one if you jumped up to 2gb since it needs to load a buttload of textures, the less it needs to use the harddrive for that, the better.

ok i can up the processor to 2.4 for 100 or go to 2 gigs mem for like 150, as for general storage i have an external for other stuff like mp3s and movies, that seems to do decent for the extra 120 gigs also got a desktop with another 250 or so that i can share off of.

Don't think the relatively tiny boost in performance you'd get from upping the cpu to 2,4ghz would be worth the $100 you had to chip out for it.

As for the ram, I'd say get the 2gb ram, I sure would .

I would have said to bump up to the 8000 series of cards, but that laptop should be able to play any new games through this next year without any trouble.

1MB of L2 cache is nice... and so is the free t-shirt!

Get an extra 1GB of RAM if you can afford it later, like Aed said.
