no that was geographical luck

he said the reason why Eurasia was able to spread technology and ideas was because the food was able to grow there because there longitudinal lines were very similar but in America were are more elongated and so food could not be spread as much as it could in Eurasia

if i were being serious i would use a more supbtler point to the movie as

money was made because of food. in essence the more food you have the more money you have, they more money you have the more things you can buy the more things you can buy the more powerful you are

so if there wasnt an overaboundance of food then the need for currency would be gone

acording to the GGS movie
