I think it's best if u just level your own acct. Too many times have I listened to friends and family about the person whom they thought gave them the account now wants it back. It will take you 2 weeks (3 at most) to level to 80 and it will give you an opportunity to mesh with the class of your choosing as well. People in the guild are always available to help you with any questions, strategies for leveling, and quests.

Good luck and hope to see you soon.

I pretty much agree with Ang - it doesn't take long. But if you really don't have the time/patience then I would ask...

Do you want to play with Hoss? If so, that Priest is Horde (Blood Elf) and we're Alliance, so you would have to do a Faction Change.

We'll help you out Send. Much safer to buy your own account and secure it, and level traditionally.

    Using RAF and FollowMe?

Get a lvling guide with TourGuide like the Wow-pro ones and it's easy mode. The only problem you'll have with them is that they are a tad outofdate and you'll often outlevel them and have to skip a zone or two. You can get to lvl 60 with them within a few days easily.

Quest Helper (if your computer can handle it) is an add on that will make your leveling faster as well. It's pretty much a GPS to the quest points that you need to go to. As I mentioned above - one of the most important aspects of leveling your own character (instead of just buying one) is to understand the mechanics of your class so that when you're ready to group - you're not like "ugh - what's that spell for?"

    PS
Besides - I suggest to play a druid as a healer anyway and not a priest

Yep, Jame's leveling guide would do it.
    Firanja - Medicor Mortuus
    Andaas Taranis - Druidicus Corpsus
    Andae - Clericus Inanimis

Quest Helper is nice, but I prefer Carbonite myself. It's not a hog like Quest Helper is....But either way you go, you will be good.

Carbonite is a bit of a hog too, but not as bad as QH (QH's really cool routing features are CPU intensive). I personally prefer Carbonite over QH. But it's a preference thing. Either one will get you leveling really quickly.

Sendain - if you want even faster leveling, hit me up

I'll put you through the Recruit a friend and you'll even have higher experience gains through this method.

Play a boomkin or dps shammy!

  14. #14
If you wanna play DPS, go hunter or warlock. Very easy leveling with a pet tanking. You can solo a majority of the elite quests as well. If you want to be a tank or healer, druids are the way to go. You level as DPS kitty or OOMkin and then switch once you get to level 80.

I also recommend lvling rather than buying as you will not only experience the game and its story more so, but you'll also be familiar with your class a lot more. Just jumping into a priest and healing is not really going to be nice than learning about the class and healing a lower level instance.

Aye Em Oh (hi peotr! lol) - priest is the most complicated healer to play And I've played all of them to end game content. So if you're into that kinda thing - Priest is the way to go

I recommend a druid sendain. Good solid healer and can use the 2nd spec for tanking or DPS. All in all a great class to play imho.

Looking forward to seeing you in game. Let me know if you need anything.

I think this would be my biggest reason not to purchase an account. I think if you have the original CC the account was opened with and a good story, you have a lot of power to reclaim the account..

But I am curious, how much is that thing even "worth?" With as many players and as easy as it is to level, I would guess that a WoW character is worth only as much as the software licenses actually tied to the account (plus the realm transfer fee if that is included).
