*WARNING* - This recipe has a little bit of sugar in it. Diabetics beware.
Nate's "Fried" Ice Cream
Vanilla ice cream
4 c Corn Flakes
1 c Granulated sugar
4 Tbsp. Cinnamon
Chocolate Syrup
Honey
Whipped Cream
Maraschino Cherries
In a gallon zip-lock bag, crush the corn flakes, sugar, and cinnamon until a fine texture (like sand). You can also use a blender or food processor. Scoop ice cream until enough for a size of a baseball, or softball if you are really glutton for punishment. Ball the ice cream and put in the bag with the corn flakes. Press the corn flake mixture into the ice cream to get it to stick. Place ball into a bowl, drizzling the honey and chocolate syrup on top. Top with whipped cream and cherries and enjoy. My kids like it so much, it's 10 minutes of utter silence in my house. Enjoy.
