Just checking to see who is playing Warhammer. Myself and some of the top Wow players in my guild and other top guilds might be putting a guild together as evil on a full Realm vs Realm server. We plan to be somewhat casual and of course focus mainly on PVP to start and see where the game takes us. We did the same thing on Conan and were quickly one of the biggest and most powerful guilds in the game but as I am sure a lot of you are aware its a terrible game and died. lol

Yes its dead and its terrible. Good news is I hear they are planning an expansion to release the rest of the game that should have been available at launch. Bad news is you have to pay for it. I think people got tired of Beta testing such a terrible game that has absolutely no content.

not sure why folks keep pushing out unfinished games like that. Warhammer will be no different albeit much prettier I imagine.

I have heard both Negative and Positive things about Warhammer but have decided to find out for myself. Afterall there is nothing else to play right now anyway and I am bored! I hear that it is much better now than the first time they had beta but still has its issues like any new game.

I have to say Warhammer is quite fun in the way that pvp is as rewarding as pve in terms of experience and loot. It is nice not being obligated to doing just one side of the game because you can progress faster doing so.

We were going to play Destruction but are hearing reports of the game being unballanced 70% destruction and 30% order so are unsure what we are going to do. We might set up a website and have a vote.

However, as it turns out, I am going to have 6-day weekends in the Fall. So, as I am going to hope Vinen is correct in that this game's life span won't be longer than 6months. And so, I'll pick up this game.
I'll play on the same server as you clowns, as long as you are Realm vs Realm.
Additionally, I am going to be evil. And green. And a healer.
And named Zappo. Shocker right?

Granted that Witch Elf sucked at 9k damage :|.

Yea I have been in the beta for the last month or so.
Classes I've played:
Tanks

Chosen, Sword Master both pretty fun.

Melee DPS
Witch Elf (pwns stuff good), Witch Hunter (fun but not sure if I wanna go that route), White Lion (hate the pet and its a buggy class)

Ranged DPS
Sorceress (damn cool if you dont kill yourself first), Shadow Warrior (like a mix of a warrior (stances) and hunter without the pet and silly traps), Bright Wizard (see sorc cool if you don't kill yourself), Magus (cool but pets lower the dps output too much last i checked)

Healers (Cool thing about the healers is that if you choose to only heal you will be out healed by people who choose to do damage and heal)
Warrior Priest (what the paladin in wow should have been and more), Disciple of Khaine, (similar to WarPrst but dual wields swords instead of a big mace), Archmage (healing a bunch leads to nukes that hit hard and damaging alot leads to heals that hit hard its a win/win.)

All over its a fun game and if they can just fix a couple of the bugs here in the final stretch it should be a blast. My only concern is with end game getting too old and repetitive to fast since the lvl cap is only 40 and I was able to get to 20 in 3 days of play.
